i have started small jewelry sale and i want to be able to sell on-line but i don’t know how to get stared on the web to show pictures of the merchandise and to be able to sell online to other states if possible this is small so i am on a budget this is only a hobby that does not make that much money so i wish for info for free if possible help or a software that i can get for free to make one?

I do web design on the side. I recently searched all over the internet for "free" web sites for some potential clients and discovered, you get what you pay for. I found many, many problems. Most of these free sites were very misleading in what they offered and there were many complaints regarding poor customer service especially regarding over-billing. My advice would to be wary of "free" web pages/hosting.

My suggestion is that you talk to a local hosting provider who might be able to suggest a individual or a company that might be able to get you started for a decent price. I followed this advice and was able to find a local provider that will host their basic site for only $7.95/ month. As for software, best to ask the local provider for their suggestions. Good Luck!

In order to have a page on the web it will need to be hosted, i have network solutions which gives you a domain name also. The also offer other features such as free email and you get quite a bit of pages. I also have merchant circle which is free. My space is also free and you can put slide shows from multiple sites like photobucket, slide etc.
